Our only office is here in Arab, at 621 N Brindlee Mountain Parkway. For most Arab clients the trip takes a few minutes.
Arab sits on Brindlee Mountain, a short drive from Lake Guntersville. Most of the city is in Marshall County, with a portion across the line in Cullman County.[1]
US-231 carries traffic north and south through town and AL-69 runs east and west. Education and health care employ more Arab residents than any other field, followed by manufacturing and retail, and the city runs its own school system.[2]
The Arab Chamber of Commerce counts manufacturers such as Syncro Corporation, Progress Rail and Frogg Toggs among its members, and HH Health opened a business operations center on US-231 in August 2026.[3,5]

Huntsville does not levy a city tax on wages; its city taxes are sales, use, lodging and similar taxes. Your Alabama withholding works the same way wherever in the state you work. What we see go wrong more often is a household with two or three jobs where every W-4 assumes it is the only one. Bring your last pay stubs and we will check the whole household.[6]
Arab requires a business license for businesses inside the city limits and the police jurisdiction, and the City Clerk handles it. The license is separate from your tax return. We can keep the income and expenses in order for both.[4]
Alabama does not tax pensions from the Teachers’ Retirement System or the Employees’ Retirement System, and it does not tax Social Security. Withdrawals from a 401(k), 403(b) or IRA are treated differently. Every return is different, so call us and we will look at theirs.[7,8]
